electoral commisison and the judiciary deserve the respect of all Ghanaians.
They should be held in high regards and be treated with all the decorum that is
required to ensure that they maintain certain respectability in order to play
their roles as referees in this electoral competition, cherishing our freedom
of speech and our right to freedom of speech in this country.”
“It seems to
be a broad consensus that in this season of politics, the expression of
freedoms may be exceeding the bounds of decency and acceptability. It is a
responsibility for all of us to ensure that things are brought back into
balance so people would understand that when they have the privilege of
speaking on the microphone and speaking to a wider public, there are some basic
knows of acceptability that should be observed,” he added.
The Muntie Fm trios are currently serving their jail term
